As the lead color developer for Nike's partnership in creating seasonal Heritage and City Edition uniforms for all 32 NBA teams, the role demanded a blend of creativity, technical analysis, and production science. Each season, we engaged in a meticulous process to encapsulate the identity and culture of each team’s respective cities and culture. Researching local symbolism, historical references, and community values allowed us to craft unique color palettes that resonate with fans and players alike.

Working closely with team stakeholders, designers, and marketing teams, we ensured that each uniform reflects not only the spirit of the city but also adheres to Nike’s innovative standards. This involves iterative design reviews, rapid prototyping, and extensive testing to refine color choices that enhance performance and visual impact.
